2020 Banking Reload Promo
  1. This ‘2020 Banking Reload Promo (“Campaign”) is organized by U Mobile Sdn Bhd 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) which commences on at 00:00:00 on 17 August 2020 and ends at 23:59:59 on 16 November 2020 (“Campaign Period”). All entries received outside the Campaign Period will be automatically disqualified.

  2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (”Terms and Conditions”).

  3. Campaign Eligibility

    1. This Campaign is open to all U Mobile Prepaid subscribers. Participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in this Campaign.

    2. U Mobile’s employees and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Contest.

    3. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any entries or disqualify participants without assigning any reason.

  4. Campaign Mechanics

    1. To participate in this Campaign:

      1. You must purchase and perform a successful U Mobile Prepaid Reload transaction of minimum RM30 (“Reload”) via any banking channel (web, mobile apps, ATM machine and e-wallet) of any of the participating banks (listed in Table below) listed in the Table below and start utilizing the Reload within the Campaign Period.

  5. Prizes

    1. A total of 9200 daily prizes and 54 cash prizes will be given out throughout the Campaign Period as set out below:

    3. Daily prizes:

      1. A total of 100 winners will be selected on daily basis starting from 88th transaction based on the reload amount as set out below. The daily prizes will be given out on weekly basis.

      3. Daily prize winner will be notified via SMS. The prizes will be issued in the form of cash e-voucher code via MyUMobile App (via “My Vouchers Tab” option) which can redeemed with the selected merchants. The winner is required to download MyUMobile App to redeem the prizes. The cash e-vouchers will be automatically forfeited if the cash e-vouchers are not redeemed within 90 days from the receipt of the SMS notification. You are not allowed to sell the cash e-voucher code to any third parties. If U Mobile finds that the cash e-voucher code is sold to third parties, the cash e-voucher code will be deactivated and will not be usable.

      4. Each participant is entitled to win one (1) prize for the daily prizes each month and daily winner is qualified to win for the monthly prizes.

    4. Monthly Prizes:

      1. The top 18 participants with the highest total accumulated value of the successful reload purchase in a month will be selected as monthly winners.

      2. The shortlisted participants will be required to answer one (1) question correctly. If the question is not answered correctly after two (2) attempts, OR if U Mobile is unable to contact the winners after two (2) voice call attempts, he/she will be disqualified and the next in line (based on highest reload accumulation) will be contacted. If the participant is disabled and unable to answer the question verbally, a legal guardian/representative may assist to reply to the question posed.

      3. Monthly prize winners will be notified via phone call from a U Mobile’s representative. The prizes may be given out as follows (which will be at U Mobile’s sole discretion):

        1. The winner may be required to attend a prize giving ceremony as scheduled by U Mobile (winner needs to show their identification card for verification purpose before collecting the prize);

        2. By way of cheque issuance (winner is required to provide his/her full name (according to NRIC)) and the winner is required to collect the cheque at U Mobile HQ Office on an agreed date and time; or

        3. By way of deposit into winner’s bank account (winner is required to provide a valid bank account number for U Mobile to deposit the cash prize).

        The winners’ failure to provide the required details will result in the forfeiture of the prizes. In the event the winner is not able to attend the prize giving ceremony scheduled by U Mobile, the winner can send his/her representative to attend the prize giving ceremony or the winner is required to collect the prizes within 30 days at a venue selected by U Mobile.

      4. Each participant is only entitled to win one (1) monthly prize for the entire Campaign Period.

    5. You must ensure that your U Mobile Prepaid account is Active during the Campaign Period and until the delivery of the Prizes. “Active” means able to make and receive calls.

    6. The prizes are given on an "As is" basis and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, in full or in part. U Mobile makes no warranties express or implied, on the quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the prizes. U Mobile reserves the right to substitute the prizes with another voucher or an item of similar value at any time without prior notice.

    7. All winners’ names will be published on the U Mobile website or any other method of communications U Mobile deems appropriate.

    8. All winners must abide by the terms and conditions imposed by U Mobile and the terms and conditions attached to the prizes, if any.

  6. General

    1. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Campaign are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.

    2. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions including terminating or suspending this Campaign and extending the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.

    3. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the participants. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants and if the participants are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians, agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.

    4. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:-

      1. consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign; and

      2. consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and

      3. grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.

    5. The subscription and use of U Mobile’s Prepaid mobile services are subject to U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, U Mobile’s standard Prepaid Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.

    6. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.

    7. In the event of any conflict between the English and other language versions, the English version shall prevail.
