Prepaid GX30

GX30 is a prepaid subscription service for internet on your mobile phones. GX30 is valid for 30 days. Your Prepaid line must remain active in order to enjoy this bundle. GX30 is bundled with UNLIMITED data and free 3GB Hotspot. You can use your UNLIMITED data (3mbps) add for ALL usage on your smartphone (example: Web browsing, Social, Video, streaming like Twitch and Music streaming like Joox, Spotify, Apple Music, Email and much more).

All U mobile prepaid users may activate this bundle, except U Broadband service subscribers

GX30 is designed for smartphone use only.

The unlimited data is meant for personal use on your smartphone. For sharing of data with other devices, you are given additional FREE 3GB mobile hotspot with no speed cap. All usage from mobile hotspot will be deducted from this allocated quota.

You may continue to use mobile hotspot at a reduced speed of up to 64kbps.

Subscription begins on your service activation date and will be renewed automatically at the end of 30 days (subject to minimum balance in your prepaid account to renew GX30).

Yes. You will receive SMS notifications 2 days and 1 day before your auto-renewal is due, and another SMS when your subscription is renewed.

Yes. You will receive an SMS notification on your subscription status.

The subscription fails to automatically renew in the event of insufficient balance or account being in passive period. The system will only attempt to renew the subscription again on the following day.

Giler GX30

General
  1. GX30 is a 30-day bundled service for data ("GX30 Plan").
  2. The Plan is available to U Mobile prepaid subscribers only and are not available to - U Broadband subscribers.
  3. The Plan cannot be transferred to any other mobile number.
  4. The Plan is provided according to the U Mobile Prepaid Terms and Conditions. You must comply with those terms including our Fair Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and these additional terms and conditions (collectively, the "Terms") all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
  5. We reserve the right to modify or otherwise change these Terms including the charges.
  6. The Plan cannot be combined with any other offers unless expressly stated.

Activation and Charges
  1. You may activate the GX30 Plan on your mobile device:
    1. Via MyUMobile app’s Add-ons section; or
    2. by dialing *118#; or
    3. via SMS by sending the “ON GX30” to 28118. Each SMS sent will be charged RM0.05.
  2. Before you activate, you must have RM30 minimum credit balance for the GX30 Plan.
  3. The activation fee applicable for the Plan is RM30. We will deduct the activation fee from your credit balance whether or not the activation was authorized by you. No refunds or request for credit will be entertained.
  4. The validity period is 30 days from activation. On its expiry, your subscription will be automatically renewed only if you have the minimum credit balance specified in paragraph 2 (Activation and Charges).
  5. If your subscription cannot be automatically renewed because you have insufficient credit balance, your subscription will not be renewed.
  6. You may activate as many GX30 Plans as you like. Any unused data will be forfeited upon renewal of the GX30 Plan.
  7. If you wish to terminate the GX30 Plan, you can unsubscribe:
    1. via UMB at *118#; or
    2. via SMS by sending the “OFF GX30” to 28118. Each SMS will be charged RM0.05.
  8. Any unused data will be forfeited upon GX30 Plan termination. Subsequent data usage will be charged according to the respective prepaid rate plans.

Data Service
  1. By subscribing to the GX30 Plan, you will enjoy unlimited data usage with Internet speed up to 3Mbps. GX30 Plan includes unlimited video and music streaming at standard definition.
  2. You are given a separate 3GB of data quota for mobile hotspot usage. After the quota is fully utilized, data speed will be managed.
  3. Hotspot Booster is an add-on service that provides additional mobile hotspot quota on top of the monthly quota allocation in paragraph 2. You can only subscribe to Hotspot Booster with the GX30 Plan, and is not available with any other U Mobile data plan. The validity period of Hotspot Booster is 3 days from the subscription date. If you have subscribed to Hotspot Booster, when you change your rate or data plan, any unused quota and validity from your Hotspot Booster subscription will be forfeited without refund and will not be carried forward to your new rate or plan.
  4. Turbo Booster is an add-on service to enhance the Internet speed set out in paragraph 1. You can only subscribe to Turbo Booster with your GX30 Plan, and is not available with any other U Mobile data plan. The validity period of Turbo Booster is 1 day from the subscription date. The subscription does not give any additional data quota in your GX30 Plan subscription. If you have subscribed to Turbo Booster, when you change your rate or data plan, any unused validity from your Turbo Booster subscription will be forfeited without refund and will not be carried forward to your new rate or plan.
  5. Peer-to-peer (P2P) usage is up to 64kbps.
  6. For non-mobile hotspot usage, you can use GX30 Plan via smartphones only and no other devices including MiFi and USB dongle. U Mobile may from time to time change the device requirement for GX30 Plan based on its discretion.
  7. U Mobile at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right at any time without being liable to you to suspend or terminate the GX30 Plan if you are found to be in violation of the Terms.
  8. The data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your actual download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and are affected but not limited, by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability.
  9. When there is a network failure, your normal (non-hotspot) data usage may inadvertently be deducted from your mobile hotspot quota. You acknowledge the possibility of this happening and agree not to hold us liable.
