Telco introduces the “Shop Till You Drop II: Jom Beraya Sakan” promotion to reward its prepaid customers with once-in-a-lifetime shopping experience

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 June 2015 - Back by popular demand, U Mobile, Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative telco, is introducing the second instalment of its “Shop Till You Drop promotion, which offers prepaid customers even more reasons to top-up their mobile credit to win a spot for an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime shopping spree.

Aptly themed “Jom Beraya Sakan”, the promotion is open to all U Mobile prepaid subscribers who purchase a U Mobile reload of not less than RM30 in a single transaction at any 7-Eleven stores, E-Pay retailers and banking channels nationwide.

They will stand a chance to be selected as one of the lucky 18 participants based on the following stages:

  • Every 1,888th customer will be selected based on natural counting. Total Eighteen (18) pre-qualified participants will be selected each week.
  • Stage 2: The identity of the pre-qualified participants will be verified by U Mobile. Once verified, the pre-qualified participants will be required to answer one (1) question correctly to qualify as a successful participant for the Shopping Spree worth up to RM1,000.

U Mobile currently has more than 31,000 alternate channels carrying the telco’s products, and is looking to grow the number of outlets, while venturing into other possible verticals to make it even more convenient for customers to access its mobile plans.
